I am what I am
I am a serious Anglophile. Just ask my husband the Lanky.
I love my dog unconditionally, even when I find that sock with the toe missing, under the bed.
I will accept all requests from my friends to host dinner parties.
I was married in a castle way, way, before Madonna ever thought about it.
I am uncomfortable in crowds.
I love to fish, but hate to take pike off the hook. ouch.
I have a serious lust for automobiles. Mostly of the 60's and 70's - American, British and Italian.
I will stop and pet any and all dogs that I see.
When it is warm, I love to get dirt under my nails. In winter I make do here.
I like leaving books I have already read in unexpected places for others to find them.
I love mission style and arts and crafts. Greene and Greene, Frank Lloyd Wright, Stickley, etc.
I love the smell of antique shops and used book shops.
I love red wine, french rose, cognac and single malt scotch from Islay. The smokier, the better.
I don't drink soda.
I would gladly pay John Hannah to read me the phone book. All of it.
Twice
I watch way too much BBC America.
I always have music playing.
I believe that love is where you find it, regardless of 'the rules'.
I believe that religion is more of a feeling than a doctrine.
When it comes to shoes, comfort beats fashion always.
I have a shortwave radio.
I cook in the following styles, French, Italian, Indian, Belgian, English, Thai.
I swear when I'm driving. A lot. With occasional hand gestures.
It's a good thing I take the train to work every day.
I get along extremely well with both of my parents. It was not always this way. Thankfully the adolescent years have been forgiven.
I am an only child.
I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
My husband is 13 years older than me.
My stepmother is 4 years older than me.
My parents are 17 and 18 years older than me.
At one time I wanted to work in radio. People always comment on my voice. Especially men upon hearing my voice on the phone, but I won't go there.
I love England and would live there in a heartbeat.
I have been to Italy. By Myself.
I don't think that we will have any children.
I would have a small farms worth of animals if I could.
I always try to read the book FIRST, see the movie AFTER.
My grandfather always had dog biscuits in his jacket pockets in case he came upon a furry friend. I loved that about him.
I collect sheep items.
I collect Maxfield Parrish art. He was aquainted with my family when they lived in Cornish N.H.
One should never, never let any body part dangle over the edge of the bed whilst sleeping. The boogie man does live under there you know.
I have a great affection for old Mill towns.
I grew up in Chelmsford. A small northern town in Massachusetts.
The soundtrack would be Dream Academy's 'Life in a Northern Town'.
I am an INFJ
