We're Having: She and He (Episode 5)

That zucchini you see if from the organic lady at Winterberry Farm in Belgrade, ME, we had stopped by to pick my husband up one of her pies, blueberry and he reports it was very good. My mom and I are those strange people you see who actually WANT the giant zucchini that was hiding under the leaves. I've written about how we like to cook these before, so just have a little wander over and a gander, no, we don't stuff them.
Tonight being a nice warm summer night means that things will be simple around here.
The rosé is chilling in the upstairs fridge and the cocktail is just about to be made.
She: Fried zucchini, served room temp, with a bit of potato salad.
He: Leftover Szechuan chicken stir fry we made :Amaranth, pea tendrils, water spinach (from my favourite Hmong farmers at the market), peppers hot and bell (some from the garden), onion (farmer's market), garlic, ginger, scallion, bamboo shoots.
