I am just going to publish a little link here. A link that will change your life if you are off sugar and looking for dessert. It involves 1 ingredient and 1 machine.
I wanted to like this...oh how, I wanted to! But...I just don't like bananas! Sigh...not even with cocoa & coconut & vanilla...

Yes, sadly you kind of do have to like bananas....

Was going to make peanut butter, banana cookies with chocolate chips today but it was too hot. Saw your post and I had a frozen banana so I tried it. Added some peanut butter and a few mini chocolate chips. It was delicious and I really did feel like I was eating ice cream. Thanks for the post.

I finally had some bananas ready to go into the freezer to try this. I usually only eat them off-green, so I had to wait until there were some over-ripe ones. I put them in the utility to stop them going too far over and Mr BW asked me why they were there. I told him, omitting to say I needed to peel and chop them up first. He 'helpfully' took them out and put them in the freezer. Whole, with skins on.
I wonder what it tastes like made with skins and all? ;)

Hmmmm. I'm betting they would taste might "green". I haven't tried peeling and then freezing which is what I will do next time. It's rather difficult to peel them frozen. Fingers are at risk!

Ah - right - you sound as if you've been freezing them whole with skins on too, then peeling after? The recipe linked suggests chopping them into chunks and then freezing them. All may not then be lost... I shall go and retrieve them and investigate further...
