We are Sorry
Dear New England Residents;
I would like to sincerely apologize for putting our lawn furniture out last Sunday.
In the future we would like to pledge to not put the lawn implements until September thus ensuring a sunny and dry Spring and Summer.
On an up-note...It's all rinsed very nicely and you will be happy to know that I haven't yet dared take my snowbrush out of my car because we all know what happens here when we do that.
Signed,
Your fellow residents

It wasn't you - it was me. Last Monday, a mason started work on repairing my front steps and walk - work which I'd been putting off for a couple of years. But I finally got it together, and found a mason, and he actually came and started work! And then it started raining, and I haven't seen him since. I'm firmly convinced that's the real cause of the continuing rain.

I think it was partly my fault. Not only did I post photos of my azeleas in bloom last week, but I actually had the affrontry to garden before May 15. I know, I'll never do it again.

Well, at least I know it's not MY fault. My snow brush and ice scraper are still firmly ensconced in my back seat, although I keep meaning to move them to my trunk. And my deck furniture stayed out all winter. And I haven't even thrown out my dead plants that are still out there from last season. Yep, not MY fault. ;-)

I thought it was my fault for planning to barbecue on Saturday. :-) And we did anyway, under the awning. Rain be darned!

We put new dining furniture out on the terrace, and it hasn't stopped raining since, in fact there is so much rain today that the golf course has flooded.
The previous week was of course so hot and sunny that I got severely sunburned, in England! In May!
