Youuuuuuuuuke!

When you suddenly find out (oh last night**) that this guy lives three doors down the street from you and you suddenly realize oh SHIT I just might not have enough candy for the potential onslaught of trick or treaters I might get tonight, take my advice, don't go to Shaw's in Auburndale.  You will find the candy aisle EMPTY except for giant bags of Dum Dum's and really who on earth wants to get Dum Dum's on Halloween?  Let's hope shutting all the lights off when we run out works.

**How did I not know?  Husband is the official walker of the pooper and therefore he knows all the neighbours and hears the gossip long before I do.  He has known all along, but of course being a Brit hadn't really appreciated the whole having a Sox player on your street excitement thing, until of course, he saw those signs last night.  It finally twigged.

That's pretty cool. Now neighbors can break into his garbage cans and sell the stuff on Ebay.

We never get any trick or treaters (we live on a creepy street in West Newton where it looks like no houses are) but I always get candy "just in case"...I went to the Brooks in Waltham and got some Milk Duds, which I dislike, because I worried if I got anything good I'd eat the entire bag. :-)

And that's awesome about Youke!!!!

That's awesome! My aunt lives in Waban down the street from Varitek and she also had the onslaught of trick or treaters.
